Every year at the Waite Park Fall Festival I table with a budget activity where people can vote on what I should prioritize for the budget. Each person gets 3 beads they can put in any of the jars as they see fit (all 3 in 1 jar, 1 in 3 different jars, etc.). Here are the results we got on Saturday.

Waite park fall festival

Reverse cuts to climate action 69
Reverse cuts to neighborhood funding 58

This evening was the plaque dedication ceremony in honor of the 21 Edison alumni who died in service during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. I authored a resolution honoring these Edison Heroes that will join these plaques at Edison in honoring the students who gave their lives at such a young age.
