Like millions of Americans, I work to manage my mental health daily. I’ve long ignored my need for more help. That’s why I’m sharing some personal news. I’m taking a leave from the City for a month to get help at a rigorous outpatient program for clinical depression and anxiety.
I'm tracking the situation on 28th and Nicollet as the Hennepin County Sheriff was executing a search warrant. Access points are closed while law enforcement secure the scene. First responders are asking the public to avoid the area for safety of the public and first responders.

Around 9 a.m. this morning, federal agents executed one of our neighbors, Alex Pretti, at 26th and Nicollet in Whittier, in the community I represent. This is the second neighbor murdered in South Minneapolis by ICE in less than three weeks.
