Yesterday the City Council unanimously approved an ordinance updating Minneapolis' dress code policy to eliminate discriminatory practices in our entertainment businesses.

Gun violence is preventable. I led City Council to allocate funds for a non-fatal shooting task force. Using less than 1% of MPD’s budget, the task force is delivering strong results in just a month. City Council invests resources strategically to improve public safety for all.
