I recently met with a group of migrant care workers at the Church of St Chad and St Mark to hear first-hand about the challenges they're facing after their employers lost their sponsorship licences.
It was lovely to be at AFC Wolverhampton City's opening match of the season over the weekend. The result didn't go their way, with a 2-0 defeat, but the effort, passion and community spirit on show were clear to see.
Delighted to visit The Way Youth Zone again to see their new kitchen, made possible by Pride in Place Impact funding! I was more than happy to advocate for this funding, as young people are the future.

On Friday, we commemorated Korean Armistice Day in advance of today. The Korean War Veterans Armistice Day is observed annually on July 27th to mark the 1953 ceasefire that ended open fighting in the Korean War, honouring the service and sacrifice of military personnel.
