Morning check in. I'm safe, family is safe. Huge tree branches blocking paths so I cant go anywhere. Sitting in my car to charge phone. No power but I expect that to not be returned until tomorrow at best. Likely Monday or Tuesday. Helping clean up to keep occupied
Worst is behind me. Initial check with a flashlight is my mini yard is all branches. My car is okay. The fence is damaged but my property management company is responsible for that iirc Family is good too. Now to try and sleep and begin cleanup and the inevitable fights w insurances
Just watched my idiot neighbor lose his lawn chairs to the trees because he didn't pack them inside.

My sister-in-law’s cat was diagnosed with cancer. Now they have to put him down because they can’t afford treatment. He was just 10 years old. He was a grumpy old man, but I loved him.
