Current wastewater #data shows that SARS-CoV-2 (SC2) levels are about 9 times lower now than they were this time last year. All regions are now seeing very low pre-summer SC2 wastewater concentrations after a mild winter peak.

Meet the Pathogens: C. auris #CAuris is an often-drug-resistant yeast (fungus) that can cause serious bloodstream infections. It can colonize the skin and other body parts of healthy people, without symptoms or infections. Treatment is possible, but drug-resistant strains keep emerging.
