Meet the Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake (Sistrurus catenatus)! Found near wetlands and rivers within 50 km of the Great Lakes, it's Ontario's only venomous snake. Habitat loss and persecution have made this species threatened and listed on Canada's Endangered Species List.
