I’m sorry the Welsh Secretary has been sacked from Cabinet. Instead of letting Eluned Morgan take responsibility for Labour’s performance in May’s election she should have resigned at that point and taken shared ownership of the result - we kept being told it was a ‘Partnership in Power’ after all

Stephen Bush@stephenkb.bsky.social · 11mo agoThe most important group of Labour MPs are the 80-odd who signed the reasoned amendment against the welfare cuts but voted for the amended bill, cos getting them back on side is vital to doing anything that is controversial. Worth watching to see if any of them get anything in the reshuffle.
