I had to point this out to a female friend I was notifiying about Ronaldo being a rapist and how he paid her off essentially to make it go away. She wasnt happy as she feels that taking the money perpetuates the idea that women do it for money, which I get but... 1/3

I get the point of alerts, i do, but from a logistic point of view I dont see the point of sending an alert after midnight when the person went missing at 11.20am. Like send it out at 8pm when some people are still out and about and its still a little light out.

The World Cup Bronze place game is basically a glorified friendly. If anything it has less at stake than an exhibition game as its not really for development. None of the players want to play it and would rather go home. This said, this a really unprofessional performance from France. Disgrace.

Anyone getting remotely annoyed that England are cruising today after the Semi loss needs to learn context. 3rd place is a glorified friendly and France clearly dont give a toss. Its actually disgraceful from them. No professional pride at all.

Norway should really have had a penalty shout there. Ball comes back off the bar and Norway lad going for it clearly shoved. If it works to chop a goal off it should work for a penalty.

Players putting the ball right on the very edge of the corner triangle is a pet hate of mine. I am certain there's no tangible advantage to be gained from it. You're not going to be more accurate with your aim. Just as likely to overhit as shank it into the 1st man. Stop it!
