avfc fan….pretends to like other sports….knows very little about politics
If ever a striker needs to break their goalless streak or team hasn’t scored for a while you can always guarantee they’ll score against Villa
“Guys, they want us to go home.” 🔥 🇫🇷 French short film about what would happen to society if all the immigrants listened to angry old racist white men and left (aka the Republican agenda)
That Barcelona game is going to be a long night isn’t it! Still if we want to be in the Champions League etc etc
I hate to go in on a player so early, but Garnacho will not work out to be a good signing.
Let me be clear, Aston Villa fans are not worried, we're excited. If you listen to the talking heads on Sky Sports and Talksport, you'd think we're all depressed and haven't bought any players in. We may well lose tonight, but we still won't be worried. Up the Villa! #avfc
I hope Emi gets a good reception when he comes back to Villa - he is a major reason behind what we achieved (despite my frustration at times at some of the goals he conceded). Feels genuinely though like the right time for everyone for him to take on his next challenge
🚨💣 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: Today's result is officially Aston Villa's joint-worst-ever start to a Premier League season, equalling the 5-1 defeat to Newcastle on the opening day of the 2023-24 season. We finished in the Champions League places that season. Let's get our transfer business done ASAP. #AVFC
And let’s also not forget how bad we started last year where we also finished in the champions league spots

My advice to Villa fans would be forget about this one, accept the next few games may not be that much better but trust that we will improve. We have players to come into this team who are injured and will make signings #avfc
Never ceases to amaze me how quick fans turn on here. This is bad I know, but anyone who knows football knew this would be an extremely tough start to the season. I’ve even seen someone mention a relegation battle 🙄
You can talk about chemistry all you want, but too many players here making very basic mistakes - this is less chemistry and more players having a stinker
Is Tammy injured? Think today’s line up confirms Watkins is leaving.
So the 3 lads on the World Cup squad all want/have got moves. I suspect hearing what other players are earning in the squad has something to do with it
Once a player wants to leave you have to find a way of making it happen - but not until we replace
Jacob Tanswell@jacobtanswell.bsky.social · 2mo ago#AVFC reject a new bid from Al Hilal worth £45m for Ollie Watkins. 30yo has made clear to Villa he wishes to leave. Emery wants to keep - club offered new deal until 2030 - but admits there is "an issue." Al Hilal continuing pursuit. Story w/ @david-ornstein.bsky.social on @theathleticfc.bsky.social
I reckon we’ve got one signing up our sleeve that will excite everyone before the window closes. #avfc
The Konsa one is a real blow but not unexpected. Watkins without a doubt i would prefer to stay, but for reasons I can’t explain i’m calm about Martinez I personally dont mind. He wasn’t the same keeper last year and has been fan boying for a move for 2-3 years now
Read someone earlier mentioned Thiago at Brentford - a great shout if we can get him #avfc
Gaz@watto100.bsky.social · 2mo agoEmery knew these 3 sales were coming. Left all 3 out of the Super league final and twice in his after match interview talked about more changes coming. I’m clinging to some hope there is a plan in place. Martinez one addressed, now need to sort Watkins and Konsa replacements #avfc
