@wavemsg.app supports encrypted groups and DMs and links to your Bluesky identity. Sadly still iOS only. Hopefully the @xmtp.org people are still working on @convosmessenger.bsky.social for Android so people can make groups and share them by link

Yesterday was a big day. We got 46 downloads the highest in a single day. Wave now has 209 downloads.

In one day we got major privacy concerns from two big messaging apps. The problem with these messaging apps are they run on central server and they show the msg content as notification. Wave is safe on both cases. We run on decentralized network & we don’t show message content in notification.

What’s stopping you from using wave

Now you can connect your AT Proto identity to Wave through OAuth. You can share photos in chats. You can create groups. The only AT Proto messaging app that has all this. Switch to Wave today. @wavemsg.app This should help folks like @rude1.blacksky.team and others who asked for this.
