some weeks you get lots of gamedev done and other weeks progress crawls forward and then you beat yourself up about it and that doesn't help so progress is even slower and this is all good and normal and healthy actually
I wanted to take a quick moment to shout-out my awesome friend @jumasoul.bsky.social, and all the various Calico art pieces they've made. It's been a delight having them on the dev team. :D
Indie crossovers are rad. I like seeing indie creators's blorbos interacting with each other.
I'm sure it's been pointed out before but I am officially subscribed to this Deltarune crackpot conspiracy theory Susie's Theme is being built up to be an alternate chorus to Megalovania when the time comes
It's kinda crazy how far this project has come in less than a year.

Kayin@kayin.moe · 3mo agoWe do sinful things, like let millennials think NES games had coyote time. We let them think their childhood was perfect, and smooth and without sharp edges. That is something I can never forgive.
my latest revelation especially for my games is that time spent agonizing over the architecture of a one-time use case is time spent Not Building That Use Case better to build something slightly sub-optimally and have it exist at all vs hemming and hawing
