Not a team player. She/her. Fredericton, NB, Canada.

Parents of 14 year old boys in Fredericton: I have a good view of the top of the convention centre/Chancery Place parking garage, which seems to be prime real estate for biking and scootering. I will provide you with pics of your children (for a fee) should you wish to avail yourself of my services.

Got my syllabus for my fall course. Group work (boo, but I knew that going into it), BUT - no discussion forums! You win some, you lose some. We're in the home stretch here, folks. Three classes left, then you will mercifully never have to hear from my academic pursuits (my midlife crisis) again.

Sometimes I can’t believe that I, recently just a teenager myself, have a kid starting high school this fall. Then I look down at my bedlunch bowl of Raisin Bran and yeah maybe I can believe it.

Damnit. The middle aged white lady algorithm has found me. Every second ad I get is for Quince. And every Quince ad I see I’m like “wow I could really build a capsule wardrobe with this cardigan”

It was a glorious time to be 19 year old Vero living in Ottawa. I had a summer job with the feds and we were all deemed "non-essential" so we got the week off (PAID!). Also Gatineau still had power so we just went there for poutine (Pataterie Hulloise, pour ceux qui connaissent).

On this day in 2003, a blackout hit Ontario, and several US states. The blackout left 10 million in Ontario without power for up to four days. While American politicians blamed Canada initially, it was discovered the blackout was caused by a software bug in Ohio. 📸Global News

Several people sit and stand on a city sidewalk at dusk, near a curb with traffic passing by. One man sits in a chair under a streetlight or small spotlight, while another sits nearby holding something to his mouth. Water bottles, bags, and small items are scattered on the pavement around them, with storefronts, trees, parked cars, and blurred headlights visible in the background.

Why do charitable organizations insist on cold calling people's cell phones for donations in this, the year of our lord 2026? You could be from the stop-stabbing-puppies foundation and I still wouldn't donate because DUDE, DON'T CALL ME.

Do you live in Hammonds Plains? We just drove by a townhouse on Gary Martin Dr. that had a super long lineup at 08:00. What are they waiting for? I NEED TO KNOW. My guess is someone selling homemade pork buns out of their house.
