Today, SCOTUS ruled in Louisiana v. Callais to destroy the VRA's protections against the ”denial or abridgement of the right of any citizen of the United States to vote on account of race." This opens the door again to gerrymandering, drawing districts to deny minority groups representation.

How the anti-voter "SAVE America Act" would affect you. Listen carefully to supporters trying to trick us into making it hard or impossible for millions to register to vote. Jim Crow era legislators used similar arguments to justify literacy tests, poll taxes, and other anti-voter laws.

Some much-needed good news from the better Washington (WA state). #WAleg just passed a bill to expand automatic voter registration for people getting their citizenship, coming home from prison, and applying for healthcare.
