There’s a video of some old dude, maybe a professor, reviewing Priory of the Orange Tree but it’s incredibly hard to take him seriously since he calls it romantasy. I don’t have any issue with romantasy but just because a woman wrote it and it has a romance subplot doesn’t mean it’s romantasy.

Imagine being a women’s sports bar clearly named after one of the greatest baseball movies of all time and telling people not to complain about the WPBL being paywalled for the US 2 days before the first pitch. Yes a media deal is great but paywalling the season isn’t the way to get a fanbase.

I just saw a shipper say that they’re group of shippers has better media literacy because they read books and the other shippers only watch tv/movies and I about died laughing. Imagine thinking your fanon ship makes you more media literate because you pick up subtlety but miss the blatantly obvious

I’m so fucking upset that the WPBL announced literal days before the first game that no, we can’t watch games on YouTube here in the US, instead we have to pay for an ESPN Select subscription. I don’t pay for subscriptions to watch sports so I guess I won’t be watching women play my favorite sport.

I love that every time the haters suggest that Starfield is dead Bethesda turns around and proves them wrong. I was glad to see the FO remasters confirmed but I’m surprised the revealed FO5 is in preproduction given how much announcing ES6 years before it was in production has bit them in the ass.

I’m so tired of people excusing Javik’s attitude because he woke up 50,000 years later. The dude comes from a race that subjugated and enslaved everyone else, he’s just mad his plan didn’t work and he has to work with/listen to people he considers beneath him.

First look at Amber Midthunder (Prey) as Miss Desjardin in Mike Flanagan's Prime Video series CARRIE. Told over eight episodes, the series expands Stephen King’s tale, deepening its characters and tensions, and following the choices that build toward a single, shattering night.

Since I’m replaying Mass Effect I’ve been thinking about the endings of ME3 and I really think Destroy should’ve been the only option and it only should’ve killed EDI/the Geth on very low EMS. They should’ve lived if you met the requirements for Shepard to live.

Bioware has never made a bad game, they’ve made games that weren’t as good as some of their other games but all of their games have been good. Gamers are just ridiculous about what is a good game to the point that only really great games are considered good by the community, anything less is trash.

I started replaying Mass Effect because I felt the need to do the FemShep/Liara romance again. I’ve played this game so many times that I’ve lost count but this was the first time I realized I could recruit Wrex and Garrus without talking to Harkin. #MassEffect

I’m incredibly fed up with people trying to tell me what my sexuality means and trying to define it in a way I don’t like and I’m also fed up with people thinking they can gatekeep what being queer means and decide something isn’t queer rep just because they say so and belittle people who disagree.

That GTA6 price is gonna fuck the industry even more if it sells like they expect it to because the other publishers are gonna follow them on the $80 price point and so many good games are going to be financial failures. AI is already gonna be pricing a lot of gamers out of the hobby.

I currently have two credits so I’m browsing trying to decide what to use them on since the CR books aren’t out yet so I went to Gideon the Ninth to see similar books and the damn thing tried to say Sanderson is similar to Tamsyn Muir. That’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen.

I really wish folks would quit trying to arbitrarily reclassify genres based on their whims. You finding a game cozy doesn’t mean it’s a cozy game just like a book having a romance doesn’t mean it’s a romance novel.
