The End of Oak Street was a fun action/horror movie! It was a little scary for my 8yo, but my 10yo loved it. I won't spoil anything, but the few scenes I caught from the trailer was all I knew going in, and it turned out to be a different premise than I thought.

When Nintendo Switch 2 came out, they released upgraded versions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom and they released a companion in the Switch 2 app that was helps you find shrines and Korok seeds to help you 100% the game. I thought this was a gimmick and not worth checking out.

Hat tip to @liss.bsky.social for the idea of keeping a tech bag that's always packed and ready to go. I put together a charging bag that I use for smaller trips and it's been such a time saver to just throw it into my duffel bag or luggage and to know I have cables and plugs all set.

I don't usually care about Prime Day, but I just happened to be in the market for a new iPad for my younger kid. His current one is getting bumped out of support for iPadOS 27, but he was also sort of due for one since it's getting super slow.

After sitting on it for over a year, I finally carved out the time to put the enclosure and upgrade kit on my Bambi P1P to convert it to a P1S. I also bought a bunch of airtight cereal boxes and put my filament spools and some silica beads in them to get them out of the open air. #maker #3DPrinting
