Firefighters in Spokane are working around the clock to battle the wildfires, and WCK & our local partners are there to support them no matter what time it is. Chef Chad & his team at Trail Feast served up a hearty breakfast at 6:00 AM to first responders stationed at Mt. Spokane High School. (1/2)

When the Gironde fires broke out, Melanie volunteered at the Sainte-Hélène gymnasium relief hub to support first responders stationed there as they rotate in & out of frontline shifts. Ibrahim and his family have been internally displaced in Lebanon three times. When they were finally able to return to their village, they found destruction. Today, Ibrahim is working at one of WCK's local kitchens, where we serve thousands of meals for families like his every day. #ChefsForMidEast

After being forced to evacuate their homes in the Kharkiv & Donetsk regions, families are arriving at a transit point in Kharkiv with what they can carry. WCK teams are there to meet them with hot meals, warm drinks & snacks—offering a moment of care as they begin this uncertain journey. (1/2)

WCK’s Inna is checking in from Kharkiv, Ukraine, where our #ChefsForUkraine teams are working around the clock to make sure that families displaced by war have access to hot meals and drinks. During uncertain and frightening times, a hot meal can be the key to comfort and compassion.

For months, families in Bashtanka, Ukraine, were cooking with extremely limited resources after their kitchen was destroyed—using wood-burning stoves outdoors and a plastic table. WCK's #ChefsForUkraine teams helped supply a new kitchen with stoves and ovens so families can cook more.

Firefighters battling the Burgohondo wildfire in Navaluenga are working long days in the mountains—sometimes 15 hours. Many of them are from this area in central Spain, but some volunteers have come from Italy and Greece to help. (1/2)
