Welcome! I post about living life in Minnesconsin with complex chronic illnesses, as well as my minor obsession with Outlander!

🚨🚨🚨 Our first Outlander Season 8 deleted scene!! 🚨🚨🚨 Claire being "Great Auntie Witch" 🥹💜 I choose to believe the man with "spectacles and a funny hat with a short brim" is Uncle Lamb and absolutely not anyone else that may fit that description 🙃 (📽️: Entertainment Weekly) #Outlander

"This painting by John Singer Sargent really stood out. I thought she had some mystery behind her. I thought she was elegant... There's a stillness, but a strength. I mean, her eyes are quite piercing." —Sam Heughan about Lady Agnew of Lochnaw (1892) being his initial vision of Claire 💜 #Outlander

Long Covid and this oppressive humidity upended my holiday plans with my family, so I’ve been stuck inside watching Antiques Roadshow and the World Cup on Telemundo in the AC. But honestly? I think that’s kind of a wonderful example of the America that’s worth celebrating. ❤️🤍💙

Today is Father’s Day. A year and a half ago, my mom and I left my alcoholic father. He is still deep in his addiction, but we are free. We are beginning to be whole again, one day at a time. 💚

It is growing increasingly more important to cite your sources Finding the photographer is ideal, but even just listing the media outlet you got it from is enough to double check that it’s legit On the left is AI. On the right is how they actually looked and what they really wore at the FYC event

A collage of three images.
On the left: a photo of a woman wearing a black turtleneck shirt and red lipstick stands next to a man in a gray jacket. The caption “outlander season 8 is pushing its most beloved characters into darker and more emotionally devastating territory than ever before” is below it. A watermark that reads “**THIS IS AI**” is across the photo.
On the top right: A woman wearing a black dress and red lipstick stands in front of a blue background. A watermark that reads “Not AI” is across the photo.
On the bottom right: The same woman stands next to a man in a gray jacket. A watermark that reads “Not AI” is across the photo.

It's hard to be excited about the Artemis III mission announcements when the CEO of the company making one of the mission's rockets has spent his week inciting racial violence via his personal social media platform.

One of the unexpected things about s8 for me was how much more *likeable* Roger is. (I mean, he’s still Roger. 😅) Because why am I suddenly needing a scene of him verbally processing King’s Mountain with Bree and winding up waxing (somewhat) poetic about the nuances of resurrection?!

A trio of three photos of a man with dark hair. In the first, he is riding a brown horse. In the second, his hands are folded and he looks solemn. In the third, his shirt is white dirty and he is kneeling on the ground.
