Weekend on Demand on KFAI

@weekend.crz.mn

New new music and your requests every Saturday 5-7PM (CDT) on KFAI!

At 5 o'clock I take to the airwaves and celebrate my SIXTH anniversary of doin' Saturday radio! It also happens to be episode 300 of Weekend on Demand! Be sure to tune in as I present the same shit I do every week 90.3/KFAI.org

Just listened to tomorrow's episode after pre-recording it this afternoon. I found a whole bunch of mistakes I'm not bothering to go back and fix (mostly because I'm lazy, also already late submitting it) so tune in at 5PM and play "listen for the glitch/obviously factually wrong thing I'm saying!"

Feb. 26, 1926: Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five record “Heebie Jeebies,” the song that will make him a star. At some point during the Okeh Records session in Chicago, the 24-year-old bandleader drops his sheet with the lyrics, and he improvises with scat singing. 1/6
