624 hours of sewage into the River Nene from one pumping station at Chelveston — the worst single site on the whole river. Wollaston 73 spills, Higham Ferrers 57, Rushden 44. Lib Dems would scrap Ofwat for a Clean Water Authority with unlimited fines.
1,063 hours of raw sewage were dumped in Wellingborough & Rushden in 2025 — even in a year of drought. 216 separate spills, including 624 hours from Chelveston pumping station into the River Nene. Lib Dems want a tough new regulator to end this. #SewageScandal
