Corporate profits have climbed to record highs as a share of our economy. Corporate tax payments have fallen to some of their lowest levels in decades. When corporations pay less, the rest of us pay more to support the roads, schools, and services we rely on. #TaxCorporations

This summer, we’re hitting the road! We're traveling across the state to talk with the teachers, nurses, home-care workers and public service employees that keep Minnesota running. It’s time their voices got included in the conversation about how to meet the needs in our communities.

Under Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower, the top tax rate was 91%. Today it's just 37%. In 2025, those infamous tax cuts for the wealthy came paired with over $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid and Medicare over the next decade. We've taxed the rich more before. We can do it again.

Union membership has gone from 30%+ in the 50s to just 10% today. Meanwhile, the share of income for the top 1% has doubled. When workers lose their bargaining power, the wealthy take more for themselves. Minnesotans know when we all can organize & negotiate for a fair share, we all do better.

Illinois just became one of the latest states to pass a tax on social media and digital advertising. Massive tech giants are profiting off our attention span and not paying their fair share. Minnesota has a similar bill and could be the next state to join them. Pass it along.

94% of teachers have to dip into their own pockets to buy school supplies. 85% of teachers are working second jobs during the school year, often just to keep up with the cost of living. Meanwhile, the average Wall Street employee got a bonus of $246,900 in 2025. Something has gone terribly wrong.
