been noticing so many criticisms of movies like "this isn't historically accurate" and "people don't actually act like that" and "this is unrealistic". ... when did people stop understanding that they shouldn't actually get their history from the movies? what happened?

browsing movies on tubi when all of a sudden, Farinelli. watched that movie for the first time on showcase as a tween at the lowest volume possible, remote in hand, praying my parents were asleep and wouldn't come downstairs into the tv room and OMG it's still as horny as i remember it.

today i got blocked by Mon Paris Patisserie over an a i croissant.

people with brains: "a i posters are cheap and ugly and make me question the quality of the product and moral integrity of the producer." slop defenders: "SHUTUP! You can't have that opinion!! It's good and you must like it!!!!"

you know what be the biggest flex a studio could do and would also attract the best talent in the industry? a brag about not making record breaking profits for shareholders because paying their artists and staff is actually the best investment for their continued success in the future.

We need to make sure we’re directing the frustration at the right people. Most of the responsibility falls on the show organizers more than the artists submitting their applications. It’s the show’s responsibility to curate their vendor/artist alley for the type of show they want.

unc take, but ultra high-def 10000k rez remakes aren't something i get excited about. It's not a feature that makes me go "OOOoo!" when something becomes so detailed, and all the shadowy corners are lit and filled in, there's not as much room for my imagination to play.
