I like this Ayton trade for the Lakers. While it clearly creates the need for a backup center, guys like Drummond, Valanciunas & Looney can fill the need at a discount. But now, with the two 2nds included in this deal (and their own 2033 2nd), the Lakers should be able to move some salary. (1/2)

I’m expecting the Lakers to sign Sandro Mamukelashvili and, while I like the guy, the roster desperately needs defense, length and athleticism. And, well, he doesn’t offer any of those things.
And Porziņģis just re-signed for 2 yrs, $40M which makes it even more difficult for the Warriors to pay Bron. Maybe things aren’t looking so bad for the Lakers right now… 🤔
