War of the Western Deep is brought to life by far more than its hand-drawn animation and incredible voice cast. The immersive sound design by Lucas Fehring and incredible musical score by @nolanmarkey.bsky.social (presented here) are absolutely essential to the experience!

We're thrilled to announce that @luciendodge.bsky.social has joined the voice cast of War of the Western Deep! It has been so much fun working with Lucien again after his incredible work on Dust: An Elysian Tail, and we think folks will love his take on this gruff canid soldier!

You won't need the latest technologies or snazzy 3DFX accelerator cards to experience War of the Western Deep exactly as intended. Turns out one of the best ways to future-proof your game is to embrace the oldest techniques and make them part of your visual identity.

I think we're going to see even more stories like this over the next year. Good.
