Wetlanders brings together partners from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Ireland to reverse the decline of wetlands, peatlands and other water‑rich ecosystems.
As vital links in thriving green‑blue networks, peatlands deserve today’s spotlight and so do the people restoring them. On #WorldPeatlandsDay, we celebrate the scientists, volunteers, land managers and local residents who help revive these carbon‑storing, life‑supporting ecosystems.
Wetlanders? We are a new @interregnwe.bsky.social project uniting 14 partners across 5 countries to coordinate and upscale green‑blue network restoration by sharing tools, piloting solutions and supporting long‑term stewardship. Our purpose? Healthier ecosystems and more resilient communities.
