12 years of podcasting, no commercials , no ads , no promotions , no grants , no money . But It’s a great award winning podcast. There were hundreds of pod podcast that spent hundreds of thousands producing stories and now they are broke. Like I always have been.

it’s not easy being older in a youth, obsessed, industry being rural in a world dominated by big cities, being black in a space where whiteness sets the tone, being serious in a room full of performers, being grounded among people who talk fast, and being someone who’s lived a real life.
