I am your imaginary friend I am Exactly as you Imagine me to be.. I exist only as you Allow me to. Too brave for closed doors But too scared for close encounters. Some day my writing on the wall Will make you see me #poetry

And suddenly it was all back— all at once. Like a mountain’s view that’s just to die for Like a warm blanket choking me to death Like a sweet liquor’s sleepy escape... My words are back And so are You. Let’s settle in for the winter. Welcome home #poetry #vss365 #mountain

Your holiness has me haunted Heavy with the weight of you Feels like sand Falling slowly Feels like Time’s watching me I talk to you, your energy Yet prayers roll off my tongue for me What you’ve missed and how I yearn To keep these memories Fast asleep with prayer beads Ave Maria, watch over me

Went shopping for feminine hygiene products yesterday and found a box of pads already opened and stolen from. Didn’t mean to get a bit preachy here, but I do wish I could know her and help her. These products are essential, and all women should be able to afford them. #poetry

Poem written by @whispers615 that reads:

Ave Maria:
Holy Mother,
Please watch her.
Protect her from harm,
Love her,
Know her struggle,
See her.
She may not want Your attention,
But please let her know
She is not alone:
In the grocery store isles,
On the side of streets,
In the kitchens,
Against the wall,
In her car...
Wherever she may go, we all go.
When she is crying into her hands,
Let her know we all cry with her.
She is beloved. We are beloved.
Most holy daughters.

Oak Tree A poem I wrote for her, in her honor, several years ago, now posted in memoriam, for Cathy. Thank you for your light, your witness, your care and your work- For it is your work that sent so many of us into the world to support the Greater Tree. Thank you for everything.

Poem by @whispers615 that reads:

OAK TREE
In every heart,
     there is a gentleness
     that can be reached
     Through great joy
     And great peace.
In every ear,
     lives the stories
     and music
     it must have heard.
In every soul,
     there is a power
     to bear witness
     to the lives of others.
In every hand,
     there holds the energy
     to move mountains,
     to hold children’s hands,
     to wipe away tears,
     to play music
     deep into the candle light.
In every body,
     lives a legacy,
     as the deep and dense
     as the oak grove.

There is a thought
     of who I will be
     after my work ends..
But there is also a love
     that I will cherish always
of the lives that I’ve touched,
     and who’ve touched mine—
Of the souls that walk
     on paths in my prayers—
that I send forth into the world
     with my hopes and joys.
May my spirit be light
     to those saplings
     whose leaves are just budding
And may my legacy be
     as tall
     as that oak tree.
Drawn photo by @whispers615 depicting:
A tree with leaves of various shapes and colors as well as flowers. The tree appears to be from various seasons at once as some leaves are fall leaves and some present as spring or summer, as well as the barren branches seen through them showing winter. The bark is multicolored with deep red-browns blues and purples mixed in. The ground is covered with foliage and small purple, blue, and pink flowers. Around the tree, drifting in a light blue wind can be seen an array of butterflies and moths. also dancing slightly in the wind is a wind chime that hangs on the lowest branch.

Anger arose with me this morning and talked at me endlessly before I could even finish my cup of coffee. In fact, I think I could even hear them moving about in the night- never letting me have peace. #poetry

The ringing in my hears is sharper today. The sun beats down through the window pane and yet I escape them, just out of reach. The mid-afternoon breeze seems nice; I watch it dance from inside my buzzing head, flushed cheeks spring forth dizzy spells- like sand underfoot with seashells #poetry

When will I be me again? I return to my “art a day" calendar to find that a month has already left me in a hurry, out the door, without a goodbye. My bones are heavy; the dent in the couch is a nest only for the most sick, the squandering, the idle, and the waiting. Leave me be. #poetry

The world is so big and my world is so small. I only see what I see and I can only do what I can do. As it all gets so much and the fear gets too high please don’t leave my side when I don’t know how to do what’s right. This is all so new and yet none of it is. #poetry
