Living Abroad

American ex-pat living abroad. Mother, stepmother, wife, business owner & pissed off Democrat.

Schumer/Gillibrand on @abdulelsayed.bsky.social's nomination: "Democrats are united by a common purpose: putting a check on Donald Trump by defeating his Republican enablers and taking back the Senate. We look forward to working with Abdul and Democrats across Michigan to win this seat in November."

Everyone’s expectations got skewed over the past week but Abdul El-Sayed getting $70 million spent against him in a state he lost a primary by like 20 points eight years ago and still winning last night is probably the most impressive electoral accomplishment of the decade.

AIPAC is feverishly spending millions. 30 million alone in MI. If you can’t see how completely wrong this is, and why all the people funded by them need to go. Then democracy is done. They are why we are in this mess with paralyzed politicians who do nothing in the face of a fascist takeover.

What these dumb fucks are missing is in their short-sightedness & greed they forgot that they’ve been systematically dismantling all Congressional powers & giving them to POTUS. So, why should corporations pay them a dime to be a lobbyist? No point. Just keep bribing POTUS.

Cornyn: "There's nothing we could do to rein in the president" Think about that America... A sitting US Senator acting like he cannot do a fkng thing about Trump, while he continues to vote to do nothing about Trump.

Fox Propaganda wanted President Obama in jail for ObamaCare and called President Biden a dictator for trying to erase student debt, but haven’t said one word about the orange felon trying to fund Jan 6 terrorists, protecting pedos or committing money laundering. Funny how that works.

people love to post about how "you're not gonna like it when there's millions of unmarried aimless young men" and like Japan and Korea have been running this field experiment for years and they're mostly just playing video games and jerking off

El-Sayed: There is so much more that unites us, however much we might disagree with our democratic opponent, there is so much more that unites us than divides us. And so to all of our supporters here tonight watching on TV—tomorrow, we begin to mend fences.
