In fantasy, the Sidhe are obsessed with balancing scales. Weeks ago, I stopped at a coffee shop, paid with Google Pay, but later found it hadn't added the tip. Learned Google Pay doesn't allow tips. That itch in my brain wouldn't go away until I went back yesterday, got coffee, and double tipped.

🧵 1/2 — Well, "Lucky" the feral cat had quite an adventure on the way home. Halfway across the valley, driving on a surface street underpass, my right rear tire blew out. 💥🛞 Limped to a gas station and called AAA. They got me to my tire store, and I'll get my car back with a new tire tomorrow...
The good news is the Hawk Fire is now 85% contained and schools are open. The sad news is it destroyed 47 homes, but no fatalities. The earlier Bug fire nearer to me, destroyed only two homes, but there were two fatalities, a couple who fought to get their animals off their ranch to safety. 😢
