For a long time, the inherent distortions of rasterized rendering has bugged me, especially in XR. This limitation has perpetuated into ray/pathtraced rendering as well despite the opportunity for non-rectilinear camera projections. I'm writing a forthcoming article exploring alternate projections.
Vint has been available on Steam for a year today! Thank you to all of my great customers who help support my work on this software. In this last year, I've added new platforms, major features, and regular updates. Next on the roadmap is Linux. For the anniversary, Vint is now 30% off on Steam:

Deciding how to bust display motion blur? BFI? Strobing? CRT? Framegen? Organic? Etc? Users choose! William writes about blur busting methods including flicker-based (BFI, CRT, strobing) and flickerless (framerate-based, framegen-based, etc)

I just published an article on Blur Busters comparing flicker and frame generation and when to use them. The article dives into film multi-projection, FPGA video processing, and all the many different flavors of lightweight to high performance interpolation. Let me know which solutions you prefer.
