In a season that began with so much promise & hope, our beloved Metsies have transformed into the 5 (innings) & below! Although we were very skeptical of our "run prevention" philosophy, especially when we signed players to play out of position, I never imagined it would come to this. SAD 😔 #MetsSky
I am right there with you & those sentiments my friend! The sad part is that we are not getting any younger & we were really hopeful that we would see another WS title or 2 in our lifetimes, now am I am not so sure! The "lovable losers" were a big part of my life & fabric! These days, not so much! 😟

Freddy Peralta being scratched from his scheduled start tonight signifies 1 of 2 things. The Mets already have a trade in place for him or they do not want to risk an injury to him so they may move by Monday. They supposedly have a number of suitors for his services if you believe the talking heads!
