I’ve had so many words of kindness in the last few days and I can’t even describe how much it means to us. Not long after the dismissals another member of the group made this meme, knowing we might get separated from Abby forever. I wanted to share it today.

The severity of these firings could have spelled the end for a burgeoning union effort that was underway, but it didn't. In fact, the union is now *bigger* than it's ever been before. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym4z...
Abby is our world and words cannot describe the things we are feeling right now. We simply just want both of our dogs back. Here she is, helping us paint protest signs last November. She’s the best girl.
Chris Bratt@chrisbratt.bsky.social · 2w agoNot only has Will's partner been forced to return to Australia as well, but their two dogs have been left stranded in Edinburgh for several months. Tragically, their older dog's health has since deteriorated. She will no longer be able to make it back to Melbourne to be reunited with her family.
In October last year I was fired by Rockstar Games in what we believe was a union busting move. We lost our home. We lost 2 jobs with my partner being forced to resign. We lost a community. Most importantly however we had to leave our two dogs behind, one of which will never return.

Hello - I want to express a heartfelt thank you to every person whose reached out with words of support whether you are a friend, or literally a random person I've never met before. Thank you, it means the world to my partner and I.
Currently we have no idea when our dog Lonnie - who will be returning all alone without her big sister she loves so much - is going to be back home with us. We miss them dearly.

I am beyond stoked that it looks like these negotiations between the Rockstar Games Workers Union and Rockstar Management have begun ✊ 🌱 A commitment to NO crunch, pay transparency, flexible working, NO AI, and a commitment to NO layoffs is something every workplace should have.

If a team makes a game that gets great reviews and doesn't sell, that's a biz failing but the silver lining is you caught lighting in a bottle -- protect that team! It's worth its weight in gold. If you jettison the team but keep the biz people, I don't know what to tell you

It’s cold and pouring rain here and honestly having some dogs to hang out with would do wonders 😔
We just want to make games. We just want to be treated humanely and paid fairly to do it. This is somehow seen as a problem.
