New on Winesky: you can now create links between your reviews, cross-referencing them so you can find them easily! Simply type @ and start entering a search string, and it’ll show the reviews you have created that match it best.

Hi @winesky.app 👋 Could you clarify which features require the site.standard.* and app.bsky.authDeleteContent scopes? These scopes don’t look least-privileged to me, especially delete-content access. Curious about the rationale. Thx!

🌞🌙 Winesky now has a light theme! By default it follows your system settings (light / dark), so those of you used to the original dark theme may see a UI change when you first log in. You can also head into settings and pick whichever you prefer, if you'd rather stick to just one.

Winesky's UI now supports Italian! It'll default to Italian if that's your system language, or you can switch it in settings. Thanks to @lhatan.bsky.social for a quick language check (all remaining mistakes are ours, though).

New feature: recommendations from your cellar 🍷🍺 The AI sommelier can now draw on your scanned drinks and favorites when making recommendations — saving you from having to upload images or entering details manually. Have a long history? You can search and filter both lists from the top. 🔍 Cheers!

You can now mark drinks as favorites in Winesky ❤️ Open any item in your collection and tap the heart at the top. It'll show up in its own list you can browse separately — great for wines you've loved, ones you want to revisit, or building a cellar.

📤 Share an analysis without publishing a review! Scanned a drink you want to share? Tap the ✦ analysis icon on it, then hit share at the top. You'll get a public link with everything Winesky found online — no personal details attached. Cheers! 🍷 winesky.app/ViewAnalysis...

Winesky's new save-from-feed feature is now live! 🍷 Heads up: you'll need to re-authenticate, since this new data requires new permission scopes. Reply to any post with "@winesky.app add" and we'll try to identify the wine from the post's text and save it for you.

We just pushed an update that helps further harden authentication. You may need to sign in again the next time you open the application. We'll try to minimize such changes in the future, but will always give you a heads-up as well.

Got a report from an Android user that they couldn't get Winesky to focus while attempting to scan. There seem to be several upstream @expo.dev issues related to this. We are exploring workarounds. If it happens: you can take photos using your regular camera, then pick them from the gallery.

Winesky now supports hyperlinks! You can either paste a link, or use the markdown syntax (text in brackets, link in parentheses besides it). It's not doing preview embeds, but we might add that soon.

Grande Réserve Cairanne Rouge by Camille Cayran (2023) - 3 ⭐ Black cherry, pepper... not much else so far. Less interesting than their Gigondas. Tasty and that's it. Red Wine from Rhône Valley via @winesky.app 🍷 #winesky #frenchwine #rhonevalley #syrah #carignan #grenache #mourvedre

We've just solved an authentication regression from our last update. If you've seen an "OAuth invalid_scope" error, we've deployed a fix and you should be able to log in now. Sorry about that!
