Narcissism ruined the furry fandom for me. Performative behavior out the wazoo, people heavily invested in admiration and clout; petty, spite-fueled behavior, lots of posturing about how cool and ‘mature’ you are, in-group-out-group thinking, very condescending and judgmental. I want my fandom back.
