Today's pocket pouch: So, a pocket pouch (the 2 belt loops, 2 pockets, & interior velcro) takes me about 4 hours. Denim is dense, especially at layered folds at corners. I'm using a leather sewing needle to manage to puncture everything. That's it for ready materials. Onto other stuff. #Wasteland

Completed pocket pouch. So, it takes a full day to hand sew everything. My hands are really, really sore. 5 cuts and scrapes on my fingers and knuckles... every damn project gets blood out of me at some point. Happy with the results though. #Wasteland

Today's hyperfocus went all day. Finished the pop top chainmail sewing to the pocket & the backside to the front. Completed it. (Now saving tabs for next chainmail project.) Began working with the 3rd pocket pouch by sewing Spicy patches to the front. I already have ideas for more. #Wasteland

Pop top chainmail project: This stage is putting jump rings between the top of each adjacent tab top each row. Hoping that will help stabilize it. I know I still have to sew down every single one but this should help make it easier. It's a royal pain in the ass. It's laying flatter. #Wasteland

Spent the morning making #Origami envelopes, with wax seals. All part of my planned gifts for people I admire. The big envelopes will have letters I'm writing for each that explains each gift I'm sending. I plan on sending the $-hearts with coins in the smaller envelopes. #Witch #GayWitch #WitchSky

#Knitting update: I reached the end of the skein & then frogged the entire thing into oblivion. Complete restart from the beginning. My #Autism demanded I get it right. My #ADHD hyperfocus forced me to finish it. The clash is constant. My amethyst and rose quartz torsoes are for steadiness.

Critter sitting for neighbor. I hadn't seen brown hen in 2 days. Yup, brooding. 100°+ temps. Asked neighbor if she wanted me to bring in eggs & get her girl back in the yard. Reply was, "Yes, if she'll let you." I'm country raised. On with gloves, eggs snatched, hen moved to door, but still inside.

In what way is this actually ok?

I sitting knitting and got a visitor. Context, I have severe arachnophobia. Complete inability to move once I see them within 3 feet of me. I know the source for it. Except, jumping spiders don't trigger it at all. Every other spider, yes. Not them. 🤷‍♂️ No idea why they are exempt.

My stone torso collection has grown again, but slightly different. I now have 2 mini's. I'm gleeful. 😁 I'm beginning to think of Eros rituals utilizing these different stones. The collection will continue expanding as I find new stones not in my collection yet. #Witch #GayWitch #WitchSky #Crystals

☠️ #Wasteland prep: Closer to completely done. Shredded the pant legs. (High winds common at event site.) Sharpie marked the letters that needed support. Put the hands in the pockets. Thinking about adding chicken thigh bones to the fringe. Need to do the glow in the dark paint on the letters.

☠️ #Wasteland prep has occupied me this morning. ☠️ Emptied 2 cans of white spray paint. That's between the banner and skeleton hands. Miraculous no paint on my clothes. Every 2 letters, into the paint thinner bowl to clean the stencil. Stage 1 on banner done. I'll fix the top row after drying.

2nd sharing because this is a difficult topic for most people. Confronting death, either a brush with it yourself, OR dealing with the loss of another, brings it front & center. It's overwhelming. Every. Single. Time. We are forced to recognize what we love, hate, cherish, despise, always ends.

This is difficult. I have different cultural influences throughout my spiritual life. I'll share this, though it's not particularly common. As a 2-Spirit, one of my duties is to ease passing. Part of that is to guide the departed to the Bridge. They cross to wherever they are destined to go.

Sooo... I put it out into the universe that I needed more poptops for my chainmail projects. Went for a brief walk looking for feathers, with my extended gripper in hand. No feathers. Instead, 20 poptops just laying on the corner lawn! Darnedest thing! 🤷‍♂️ #Witch #WitchSky #GayWitch

This is a hook rug my mom did in 1976. It's 50 years old. She hung it as a tapestry behind her bed for decades. She then put it in front of her altar in the spare room as a rug. My sister was just going to throw it away, so I rescued it. Have to figure out how to clean it #Witch #GayWitch #WitchSky
