Yesterday our first year iCASE DPhil Student Sam, has presented his project and first achievements during CIOs weekly seminar. Together with @astra-zeneca.bsky.social he will explore potential improvements in immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy!
Tumour-Immune Cell Dynamics Lab
@witherslab.bsky.social
We are the Withers lab, based at the @oxcio.bsky.social at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, Oxford. Our research is focused upon understanding how immune cells adapt to, and are changed by tissues, particularly the tumour microenvironment.
This Friday, we are carrying out the first CIO Fun Run™️, a non-competitive 5-10K for everyone in our department, with a social drinks and snacks get-together afterwards. We are raising money for #CancerResearchUK @cruk-mi.bsky.social 🏃♂️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻🏃🏽♂️ Donate here: fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/cio-run...
