Here in VA’s First Congressional District we have some dedicated constituents who regularly research, rebut & call out every self-serving vote & lie-filled email from our trump-loving GOP Rep Rob Wittman. If you’re not aware, they’re: @wittmanwatch.bsky.social & www.robsrecord.com Check them out.

Wittman's "survey" on defense spending: pick your favorite pre-written answer, all of which say "spend more." He's Vice Chair of Armed Services asking you to rubber-stamp the bill he's already shaping. No box for "oversight" or “end the war,” just a fundraising list with extra steps.

A simple request for Wittman's campaign: if the method is "ask questions, gather facts, study the evidence, develop solutions," name one vote in the last four years that used that process. We can't see a single one! But we can see other things... 🧵
