AI is a big topic right now, and yesterday was a day of AI for me. I attended 2 PD sessions about using AI in my own school where I teach. Then, I led a virtual workshop on using AI to differentiate instruction and materials with language teachers at the The Catlin Gabel School in Portland, Oregon.
A few trips to the mid west this fall. Michigan next week to work with language teachers in Kalamazoo and then Indiana in November to keynote the Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association Conference.

I worked with teachers in Tempe, Arizona today from two dual language (English/Spanish) elementary schools. Teachers worked collaboratively to create materials for their classrooms. A productive day working with these incredibly dedicated teachers.

Last day in #Nicaragua. One of the parents took this picture earlier today and then came back just as I was leaving and gave me a printed out version in a frame with the words: “Thank you for sharing your time and heart with us. Come back soon.”
There is a shop in Nicaragua I go to each time I visit to stock on supplies for the children’s project in La Concha. The most fun shopping trip of the year when I see how excited the kids and teachers are to get new supplies.
