Let's talk Therianthropy. These are purely my own thoughts and journey. I find that the internet can be a lonely place sometimes, so I wanted to put my own experiences out there for anyone who is curious, questioning, or lost. #faoladh #werewolf #therian #therianthropy #alterhuman

Adventure wolf is ready for a quest. Or a beer at a tavern. Really either one sounds good.
Thought I’d share some of my efforts to perfect a paw/claw situation. I’ve got a set of faux fur gloves that I airbrushed (not terribly well, I might say) and then designed a set of 3D printed claws that fit snugly over the finger tips. They're great because they're just extensions of my hands.
This is my other mask, which is a 3d printed low-poly with a hinged jaw. I like it, but it does feel a little disconnected from the rest of me
WIP mask. Wolf is ready for a quest. Or a treasure hunt.
If I could flip a switch and turn it all off, I would. I wish to be normal. If I can't be me, I would rather live without it than in the limbo between two worlds. But then I wonder who I would be without my wolf side? I've been a wolf stuck in a human for thirty years. I wouldn't be me anymore.
Usually the wolf is manageable. A positive force, even. Sometimes it just becomes too much, and I want to rip out of my skin. I yearn for my missing tail. I grasp and twist my misshapen ears. I hate my too-small teeth and lack of muzzle. I stare down at my human hands and see nothing I recognize.
I'm lucky to create. I'm always making things to help ease the noise in my brain. Paws, claws, masks, tails, etc. Some work; some don't. Sometimes I get carried away and spend weeks working on something in the hope that it will make me feel whole, only for it to go straight in the bin at the end.
Therianthropy is a very lonely thing. I have a small circle of great friends and loved ones who are very supportive, but there's no one else in my life that is *like* me. The lone wolf is a myth; wolves are social creatures, and it sucks being a wolf without a pack.
I've never really done social media, but I want to be able to toss thoughts somewhere, even if it is a void. The societal word is therian, but I feel like I've only really ever seen a dozen or so people online who experience it in the way that I do so I wanted to lend my voice
