I got to try letterpress on an etching press finally, so I could fit large enough paper for a printed sail for a queer pirate boat that's going to float on an actual lagoon for a little show at Ox-Bow 🌊🎸🎨

Testing out more glitterpress approaches. 42pt Cooper Black is small to cut a stencil for everything but letters, but want letters' edges a bit clearer at all angles. Trying a purple offset shadow (will add silver inked type+mica once dry) & different ways of adding & brushing off the mica.

Le Guin progress; just need to add the word "brighter" into the big gap once dry & I have cut type from craft foam. 👍 figured out the "why does this look slightly off", before printing a bunch, was that some but not all of the lowercase Garamond o's were same-size Bodoni someone had misfiled 🙀
