my personal curse is that I get really invested in creating art for personal modding projects of niche games what do you mean my brain has decided it's time to code and make models for Civ4. That game came out 20 years ago.

Something I noticed with Dead by Daylight is that most of my experiences with sweaty and "toxic" players (for me, trashtalking in endgame chat) are when I play on the weekend. I'll sometimes play 5-10 matches during the weekdays after work, and those almost always feel more chill.

Every once in a while I'm reminded of him and his music... (Dr. Steel) Him and the whole Toy Soldier community is a really fascinating snapshot of late 2000s/early 2010s alt subcultures

Spent the past month kitbashing various Civilization 4 units into models for a 20 year old fantasy mod, Fall from Heaven 2. Amazingly, it still lives on with active development in the form of Ashes of Erebus.
