Jared Polis letting her out of prison may have been a genius move. If she, Nutlick, etc., do this they will have broken the laws of just about every State and be liable for arrest and prosecution on charges that the orange dotard can't pardon. They'll have to go into hiding or free abroad.
🚨BREAKING: GOP lawyer Cleta Mitchell and convicted election denier Tina Peters are pushing a scheme to have Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick seize voting machines, as part of a broader effort for the Trump administration to interfere with the midterm vote. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Evidently he's forgotten, or never knew, or doesn't care, that LA is an aerospace hub and San Diego is a Navy town. The destruction of U.S. national defense and its technological edge 'is a very small price to pay' to buy Nebraska farmers' votes.
Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."
Thought for the day: Racism is so American that when you protest it, people think you are protesting America itself. This country had its Colonial foundation upon companies of people owning other people. The law no longer spells that out, but it is still written so as to support it.
"South of Hell" (2015) starring Mena Suvari. Potentially interesting premise: casting out demons by the power of bigger demons. Episode 1 was actually quite good. It went--south?--went to hell?--very quickly and barely dragged itself to an eighth (thankfully final) episode.
What TV show got so bad it effectively destroyed your appreciation for the show when it was was good?
And yet laws against sharing and downloading by private citizens for their own enjoyment continue to be enforced. Seems it's only legal if you're a corporation doing it for profit.
Freelance illustration gigs drying up. Ad agencies using Midjourney instead of hiring human artists. Costume design turned over to AI wholesale. Good work vanishing. These are the stories of working visual artists, who describe losing jobs, wages, and hope as their clients and bosses embrace AI.
It wouldn't kill AI. It would keep AI small enough so we could get it into a corner and slap it when necessary. That is the idea.
Nick Clegg says asking artists for use permission would ‘kill’ the AI industry
And on the subject of #realartatters: AI poisoning tool NIGHTSHADE is now free for artists to use: venturebeat.com/ai/nightshad...
Nightshade, the free tool that ‘poisons’ AI models, is now available for artists to use
The tool's creators are seeking to make it so that AI model developers must pay artists to train on data from them that is uncorrupted.

The so-called "officers," with no warrant, entered private property and arrested people for breaking no law. They embedded a "Turning Point USA" media shill to joyfully film the whole business. And posted it, 'just for the lulz.' They think the orange dotard will protect them forever. He won't.
Activists have spent the last 70 days camped around and inside a cottonwood tree right along the border, the last of a grove estimated to be up to 250 years old. (via @kjzz.org) n.pr/4hKJ79B
TODAY: @zachrabiroff.com in conversation with the artist Dave McKean on the current and coming horrors of AI in art. "We’re entering a world of insanity. And I mean that quite literally. We’re not going to be able to discern what is real and what is not real." flaminghydra.com/issue-662/#a...
So, Pete Kegsbreath's mighty, high-testosterone warfighters are effecting a "strategic withdrawal" because of a gang of pimply British petrol thieves? The Iranians must be shitting themselves with fear. www.bbc.com/news/article...
US removes all bombers from RAF Fairford back to home stations
No reason has been given for the withdrawal, but it follows a major incident last week when police were alerted to "suspicious vehicles" near the airbase.

It's funny how becoming wealthy can change your view of society and the economy. Suddenly poverty is someone else's problem. 😏
He's not Hitler, he's Goering, except Goering a) wasn't stupid and b) was a legit highly decorated warfighter. Call this guy "Sad Sack Goering."
FFS… Is it really an accident anymore at this point?
