Forty-three percent of voters are dissatisfied with both major political parties, according to a recent New York Times/Siena poll. Persistent frustration over the economy and foreign policy has left many Americans feeling politically homeless, and young voters are particularly frustrated.

All I see on my Twitter timeline are reporters parsing every quote from AOC in Germany, trying to mock them for incoherence or inaccuracy, while a demented old man who can’t string sentences together or stay awake sits in the Oval, while the legacy media happily sanewashes his quotes.

There is no Democratic analogue for Trump, his 34 felonies, or his 40,000 lies. For January 6th. For Alligator Alcatraz. For the Gulf of America, the demolition of the East Wing, or threats to NATO. Nor for Bondi’s combativeness, Noem’s cruelty, or Miller’s arrogance. “Both sides” is just b.s.

Things are still really expensive even if the media has stopped caring about it.
