Android 17 (unless I'm missing something) is just foisted AI, Chrome, Gmail, Google Messages, Android auto, and Gboard — none of which I want or use. Gigs of download, pretty disappointing.

CSS `@layers` have the biggest impact to getting styles under control. I'm such a big fan of this unglamorous power feature. My tip is to put primitive and semantic "tokens" last because they really shouldn't change.

The convention of boarding a plane of the "port" (left) side. I don't know for sure but I expect it's from ye olde days of ships docking on the port side rather than starboard.
Seems like a lot of people are heading to the great Amsterdam for JSNation, React Summit, and @cssday.nl (the best one). Feels like it's going to be like the scene from Anchor Man on the streets.
This is so awesome. It'll be nice to remove the heading level override props. Just need to get it in the other engines.

Looking to get some new domains and hosting for using with Coolify. Any top recommendations from UK/EU folks. Good privacy, ethics, etc would be good. I've been using 123-Reg for a while and thought it might be a good time to reassess options.

Even SeatGuru. Safari and Firefox both do this. Chrome doesn't. There's a reason for that... Read on. denodell.com/blog/browser...
Officially going to @cssday.nl I've followed along remotely for so many years.
Today's a good day to finally uninstall Chrome and move to something else. I only had Chrome on my work machine as a non-dev browser. Firefox and Chromium (is that still safe?) it is. Time to try Vivaldi on Linux?
I find it hard to relate to the motivation behind systemic persecution of people. Are some less human than others?

The results are shocking. 40% of trans youth seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year. Trans youth who wanted hormones but couldn’t access them were nearly twice as likely to attempt suicide than those who could.
