This Is Not the End.

We are literally dying in these tents. They have become human ovens. I don’t know what to do anymore. The heat, the relentless sun, the suffocating humidity, the sand, the constant itching, the allergies, and the insects make every day unbearable.

Look, if we can get this to £770/month, that will be an enormous help for Ruaa and her family. And it would mean that their survival doesn't rely on apps... Over halfway there. Pledge by clicking weekly/monthly on a coffee: chuffed.org/project/help...

Clicking “weekly/monthly" on your donation, even $1, means dependable support for Ruaa’s family to survive. It also takes the burden off of Ruaa, who is exhausted, has limited internet, and faces suppression on apps. Pledges: 24 Recurring donations per month: £452/2,325 - 19% linktr.ee/safety4ruaa

I assumed Ruaa has so much support, I assumed a lot of good people failed to live up to. There's a media kit linked below so you can easily share for Ruaa. When someone is denied a space we must hold memory for them and be their voice. chuffed.org/project/help... linktr.ee/safety4ruaa

"SAFETY for RUAA" text overlaying a soft pink patterned background. A large, loose, sketch-like illustration of a light purple rose is on the right side. To the left of the rose, text reads: "Ruua alone provides for a family of seven, including her sick sister — she is exhausted, in pain, and reliant on strangers for help. Give this family hope for better days. Make a weekly recurring donation to stand by them every week, and lift the burden from young Ruua's shoulders." Below the main text and to the right, the URL "tinyurl.com/For-Ruaa" is displayed.

I still wonder which is more brutal, which is closer to madness… Is it when a wedding is bombed? Or when a house of mourning is struck? Then even the funeral was bombed— the bodies, the mourners, and the angels that walked beside them. :(

Help My Family Buy a Water Barrel 💙 Dear friends, My family urgently needs a water storage barrel. Every week, they walk long distances under the scorching sun carrying small jerry cans just to bring home clean water.

They bomb our overcrowded places of displacement once again. They bomb our exposed camps. They bomb the tarpaulins, the tents, and the wooden poles bent by the wind. They bomb children’s mattresses, their rough pillows, and their worn-out shoes.

There is no proof that we are alive. The world does not see us. Our feet no longer walk. Our voices no longer cry out. We are surrounded by demons. There is no proof that we are still alive… Except that we still feel pain.

Widen the picture frame a little, so today’s photograph can rest beside his brother’s. Do not seal the grave too quickly another brother may soon be laid to rest beside them. Handle their farewell with gentleness, for grief has already taken more than words can bear.

The first question of the novel is the same as the last and there is no answer in between. Do you know what it means for a person to have nowhere to run in an entire city? :(((

The silence in Gaza’s news isn’t a sign of peace. It’s the result of journalists being killed, one after another. The war hasn’t gone quiet—the voices reporting it have.
