I wonder which transits were activated today. My low tire pressure signal went on just a minute before a car pulled out across lanes directly in front of me. Luckily, my brakes and the brakes of the car coming the other way worked. Turns out I had a bolt/screw in the tire. Yaaaay.

Mars conjunct Uranus, Mercury retrograde… we lost power an hour ago due to the excessive heat and an awful storm. We’re told it’ll be 4 days to restore.

I miss mass-market paperbacks. Maybe it’s just my age, but they just felt better to carry, and they smelled bookier. Plus, I could fit more of them on my shelves.

I feel so seen.

This is how humid it is: I ate a handful of freeze dried Skittles, and one of them was chewy.

If you’re dealing with grief and loss, it’s either the best time or the worst time to read The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields. I’m not sure which. Let’s just say I sobbed. A couple of times. And the acknowledgements were somehow worse (as in, made me cry harder).

This is not ok. 😬

I’m not sure what’s going on today, but literally everyone was super nice to me. My overworked mechanic voluntarily stayed late just for me, two cashiers lit up like I was their favorite customer even though I *know* we’ve never interacted before and one complimented my top and purse, one lady 1/2

My husband just said “Leos don’t have good hand eye coordination.” And I laughed. And then I realized that I don’t know a single Leo who does have good hand eye coordination? Is this actually a thing? I know there are definitely Leos who are coordinated, but are they the exception to the rule?

Accidentally hit the microphone while in my notes app. Room was totally quiet, not even a fan or refrigerator humming. I didn’t say anything. I clicked it off so fast that I don’t think I even breathed. It transcribed “no.” Ummm….

My husband and I are 12 years apart, so we profect the same house for most of the year, but in 2026, we’ll also have the same time lord. 😮

When I was a teenager, I could and did watch tv, listen to music, & talk on the phone while doing my homework or reading a book. I miss that. No wonder life feels like it goes faster as you age. When you can only do one thing at a time & often rest between those things, you can’t accomplish as much.

I think I finally understand the people that used to hate on the Harry Potter Everywhere (before it was broadly known that Rowling is horrible), because I’m feeling the same about Wicked. I don’t talk about it because I don’t want to yuck other people’s yum, but I’m getting it now.

Was super tired last night and had a plumber coming today. So OF COURSE my brain decided that last night was the perfect time to start processing childhood trauma. 👍
