Bruh I was messing with the settings on my world and apparently the frame issue stemmed from the pens in the world lagging everyone. Gained 30 fps upon removing them and putting in standard pens. FUCK!

I've been working on a cool project where I recreate a local-to-me landmark for a future VRChat world. I'm particularly proud of the bridge so far. I followed a 1930's planning diagram and used single vertices connected with edges. Then I used a "Skin" modifier in Blender to create the thickness!

The measurements are in imperial, so I had to put Blender in a cursed Imperial measurement mode to accomplish this. Its super weird to use that feature since its usually in metric. A Unity screenshot with temporary textures on the terrain and no plants. But it does have water, clouds, and a fog effect. I still need to make the rockfaces more accurate, and give the whole area foliage. But so far it is looking nice. This will be for a world in VRChat eventually. #VRChat #VRWorld #wipFinally, here is a photo I have taken from the beach I intend to recreate for this view. The rockfaces are much taller than in my WIPs, but I will get them more accurate eventually. I am recreating the feel of the place rather than exact 1:1 since I don't think its possible to put that much detail into something that will be otherwise a distant feature.

I had no clue vket was on friday and I kinda borked the launch of my world lol. Hope those of you that saw Project: Deception enjoyed it tho! I'm gonna make a night version of the world which will take a little bit, but should be out in the next 2 weeks!

I had to update Project: Deception today because I fucked up the grass. I changed the detail level to be slightly lower to improve frames, and then it suddenly started placing grass over the trails lmaooo

Its kinda wild how often you see ai used for vrchat worlds. For a medium entirely built on creativity/art i dont get how you make a whole world/area by hand then go "computer, generate me some wall art" or "computer, make me a world thumbnail" Its not that hard man just take a photo or use google
