#BeckyBooks is five years old today. Our namesake would be thrilled about that. About all the books we've published, the readers we've pleased, and the forward momentum we've kept up all this time. And I could never have done it without her spirit always on my shoulder every step of the way.
It's been very interesting and enjoyable to re-read @kurtbusiek.bsky.social's #ASTROCITY after too many years. I'm up to the Confessor story and I've both remembered and forgotten different aspects of it, making it a really engaging read. Looking forward to every issue all over again.
Can't recommend @jamesthefourth.bsky.social and #MichaelAvonOeming's #BlueBook and #RedBook enough. They're the modern spiritual successors to the #UFOFlyingSaucers comics of my youth.

I think #SPIDERMANBRANDNEWDAY is one of the best of the Tom Holland films, if not the best. It's got a ton of great MCU connections (one of which surprised me - glad it wasn't spoiled for me), and real advancement in Peter's character and relationships. I enjoyed it very much.
