There's a pretty big difference between doing "thorough criticism" and angrily obsessing over every little detail to your own accord. That's not how constructive criticism works. At that point, you're just a heckler.

Yes AI art is ugly, but that isn't the problem with AI art. AI art will get better and it will still be unacceptable. AI art is built on stolen art. AI music is built on stolen music. AI videos are built on stolen videos. AI text is built on stolen text. Across all mediums, fuck AI.
Now that I think about, this mindset is probably the result of too many YouTube criticism video essays. There is such a focus on being negative & complaining about things you don't like, it warps people's brains, making them think hating things is the way to engage with media ๐ค

I mean, what they actually did, was make the audience root against them. 9 seasons of making it clear that they wanted different things in life + Robin having amazing chemistry with Barney. There is a permanent spot in my brain reserved for the analysis about why their relationship would never work.

Netflix is the same company that thinks people want shows that are actually 8-10 hour movies, which get released on the same day ๐ Several of their competitors have realised they're wrong & are creating successful fandoms for their shows, while Netflix fails to do the same ๐ง

I liked Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey just fine, but here's my idea: A miniseries closer adaptation to the poem, starring Jason Mantzoukas as Odysseus, more comedic, more colourful, more Greek, all the weird sex plots, & featuring the gods ๐ #odyssey
