This was the nail on the coffin for me. I was already making the transition but this made me give up on X entirely as it completely disregards creators and lacks insight on how harmful this can be in the wrong hands. X is not just unfriendly towards creators but humans in general.
Norin 🦈 🔜 Nycc [???]@mahoukarp.com · 9mo agoFor further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

I was recently thinking of uploading music to Sound Cloud. Not anymore. Their regular terms were already unfair and now they want to use our hard work to train AI? Ridiculous.
